Chapter 8

“I have to go to work,” Fleur mumbled.

Hunter had been awake for the past hour, just holding Fleur and thinking about his plans for the weekend. Normally, he worked seven days a week, but he already knew he was going to ask his foreman to take over his weekend responsibilities. He wanted to spend more time with Fleur. If he only had two weeks, and that time limit was definitely going away, he wanted to make the most of his time with her. He had to. With only four days and four nights with her, he had to convince her that the feelings they had for each other, this intense attraction, needed more time to work itself out of their systems. A lifetime might work. Might not, he thought, as she curled around him, stretching her lithe body against his.

He understood that she had no idea what she was doing to him, but he would teach her over the weekend. He’d help her to release those inhibitions around him as well. When he was making love to her, she was all tiger and passion. When he wasn’t touching her, she continued to try and hide herself from him. No way! He wanted all of her and he wanted to be able to look at her whenever she was near. Naked or dressed, she was his woman.

He’d teach her, he vowed. He’d teach her a lot of things.

Rolling over, he teased the skin on her neck and shoulder. “I take it you’re not a morning person?”

She groaned and shook her head. “Definitely not.”

“That’s okay.” He moved his hand around to cup her breast, his fingers teasing the nipple until it was a tight peak. “Why don’t you just relax and I’ll wake you up slowly?”

Fleur was no longer asleep! Not with his thumb and forefinger doing that to her nipple! She gasped and arched into his hand, then grabbed it and tried to pull it away. “I can’t,” she groaned. “Too sore.”

He laughed and shook his head. “Oh, you have so much to learn,” and he rolled her onto her back, pressing between her knees. “Just relax, Fleur. I’ll have you awake and ready for work in no time.”

His fingers sunk into her core and he almost groaned at how wet she was, how ready. But he knew she really was sore after all he’d done to her last night. He’d made love to her three times last night and he had to hold off on another round. At least until tonight. Hopefully she’ll have recovered by tonight, because this weekend was going to be a long series of new and very interesting positions he planned to show her.

Fleur’s legs curled up, her hips shifting as his fingers moved against her tender folds but she moaned, unable to hide her response to his touch. He lowered his head, kissing her inner thighs, enjoying the way she sighed and her fingers dove into his hair. He could always count on her fingers to tell him what to do, what she liked or didn’t like, and how close she was to a climax.
